I am truly grateful to have been a recipient of the Robert Skinner Scholarship. Especially as a first-generation college student, financial support for my education was a true gift that enabled me-as it is ensconsed above the west doors of ISU’s Memorial Union-to not only ‘prepare to make a living, but to learn to live a life.’ – Scott Baumler, 1990 Robert Skinner Scholarship recipient
